FREE INITIAL PHONE CONSULTATION

I provide a free initial 15-minute phone consultation in order to determine whether I would be the appropriate provider for your current concerns.

Assessment

Fees for assessment vary based on the referral question, types of measures used, and amount of time required. For most assessments, you will get about 15-20 hours of my time. All testing, scoring, interpretation, feedback, and report writing are completed by me and not a diagnostician.

Fees for evaluation can be paid using a predetermined payment plan, often at the beginning and end of the evaluation. Fees for a psychological assessment are based on my hourly rate ($175/ hour) throughout the evaluation process, usually about 15-20 hours. I can provide a specific estimate based on your concerns after a phone consultation, which I can then confirm after the intake evaluation.

I currently accept Visa, Mastercard, personal checks, and cash.

Parent Coaching

Fees for parent coaching usually include a 60-minute initial intake session ($200) and then weekly 50-minute appointments ($175/ hour).

Consultation

Fees for a consultation usually involve 60-minute session ($200) and any additional time to review previous documentation ($175/ hour).

Insurance

At this time, I do not accept insurance. However, if you would like to seek insurance reimbursement for services, your insurance will likely consider me an “out-of-network” provider and may reimburse you for a percentage of my fee. At your request, I will provide you a coded invoice for the services (or “Superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance provider.

Cancellation

If you must cancel a session, please notify me at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. If I do not receive a notification, you will be charged the full fee for the session as I have reserved that time for you. This fee may be waived for emergency situations.

Good Faith Estimate/No Surprises Act:

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not enrolled in an insurance plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage, are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges for health care services.

You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or at any time during treatment. The “Good Faith Estimate” is an estimate of the total costs of the annual overall care.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
